Southampton Studio - Topper Alternatives

Are you thinking about buying a topper to hide some hair loss? Or maybe you've tried one already but got fed up with the time it takes to fit them and trying to get the clips in just the right place. Maybe you've seen our full-size Intralace Systems on TV, but thought that would be too complex a solution for a smaller hair loss issue. Then we have something that should interest you.

In the same way as our full-size Intralace Systems can be regarded as a wig that is integrated with your own hair, so the Intralace Minima™ and the smaller versions of the Intralace System™ can be thought of as a topper that is integrated by a similar method.

Toppers have some disadvantages

• You can't sleep in them, so you need to take them off at night and put them on again in the morning.
• They attach directly to you own hair with clips. That can lead to damage or to the clips slipping which means you have to readjust it.
• They can't really be worn for exercise or sport without risk of them slipping.
• Cleaning and untangling them takes time
• Because of all the above you're reminded daily that you have a hair loss problem, and that can be dispiriting.

The Intralace and Minima Systems solve all of that:

Your own hair keeps growing

The Intralace and Minima don't inhibit hair growth, so if you're using one temporarily while your hair recovers from trauma such as illness, then it will continue to grow normally underneath until recovery is complete and the system can be removed. Normal growth and regrowth does mean that there will need to be some readjustment every few months at our studios but that is the only maintenance required other than keeping your new hair well conditioned.
