Medi Connections™

Not all hair loss is drastic or severe, and this is where Lucinda’s range of Medi Connections™ fit in. These ultra-fine extensions are suitable for women who have experienced a general reduction in hair volume, or simply for those with very fine hair. Medi Connections™ may be worth considering if you are experiencing Telogen Effluvium, mild Alopecia Areata or the initial stages of female pattern hair loss.

Boosting Volume

Put simply, Medi Connections™ are a finer, more delicate version of traditional hair extensions, which can be fitted to areas of thinning hair where extra coverage is needed, but where hair loss is not extreme enough to require the Intralace Minima™ or the main Intralace System™. And not only do Medi Connections™ boost volume, but they also allow natural re-growth, as well as normal washing, tinting and styling.

Consultation to Ensure Suitability

Weighing less than normal hair extensions, careful and targeted application is vital to ensure you get the best outcome from this technique. If you opt for it, a small patch test is often required to work out the stability and suitability of your own hair. As with all of our techniques, determining the compatibility of your hair to our hair loss management techniques is crucial to get the best result for you.

During your initial consultation we will identify how many Medi Connections™ you need to boost the volume of your hair. We have various different types to suit individual hair textures so we will gladly help you decide which would most suit your own hair.

Length of Use

Medi Connections™ will last between 12 to 14 weeks, at which stage you must return to Lucinda Ellery to have them professionally removed by one of our trained technicians. If you wish, we can apply a new set of Medi Connections™ for you at the same time.
