Being supportive to a friend who is losing their hair

Hair loss might not be something that you have ever thought would happen to you but unfortunately for many women it does happen to them and it can be quite traumatic for them. If you know somebody who is experiencing hair loss for whatever reason, being there as a friend would be really helpful to them and giving them advice and reassuring them would also be a lovely thing for you to do.

Trying to understand female hair loss has baffled scientists for many years. Although we know why men lose their hair during their lifetime, scientists are still unsure why some women experience hair loss and others don’t.

It is truly amazing how the body works and hair loss can be caused by a number of different reasons such as a hormone change in your body or going through a large amount of stress and strain. Your body has ways in which it copes with certain events but large amounts of stress can result in hair loss. This is why it is so important to take time out to relax and unwind after a hard week at work or step away from situations before they become too heated or upsetting so that you don’t put yourself through too much.
